Jimmy and Taylor's Wedding

Jimmy Russell is one of our extra special nephews'. He is Don and Esther's son. Don Russell is Robin's older brother. As a child Jimmy had a difficult time speaking correctly; He had a very difficult time with his D's and R's. Something we would tease him very often about, by calling him Corky.
One of our greatest blessing we feel we have ever had was; moving a few blocks away from Don and Esther back in 1990 in Toyorsville, Utah. Don and Esther's kids were all pretty young and were so much fun having them live down the street. Jimmy would come our home all the time to play. He would tell all his friends that his uncle John had a pet Monkey. But that's another story. Jimmy is a survivor of having a brain tumor a few years ago. He had the tumor removed and continues to be tested to make sure the tumor does not return. He serviced his Mission in Atlanta Georgia. Jimmy used to love to pinch my butt all the time when he was a kid. Something I think he learned this from his mom.
Jimmy and Taylor were sealed and married in the Salt Lake Temple on Saturday, it was forecasted to snow but fortunately it was just very cold but no snow or rain outside the temple. Robin said that she had never seen a girl more in love than Taylor was at the sealing. She is very beautiful and has reddish hair just like Esther, probably one of the reason's why Jimmy fell in love with her.
Don and Esther's family.

It was great seeing all of Don & Esther's kids and their spouses. We can't believe how grown up Megan is now. She told us how she just made another boy cry because she wanted to break up with him. She is studying Music and Harp that the University of Arizona. Where her older sister Michelle Graduated at.

Here is Megan Playing the Harp at the reception.

Probably our favorite picture of the trip.

Jimmy and John. I don't see where Jimmy's hand is?

Yes, Henry even attended Jimmy and Taylor's sealing. He brought his temple recommend.

We had the best time! Too bad it was so short. This is what we miss most about living in Utah, Robin's family. We look forward to Brian and Katie's trip in April 09. And hope Jimmy and Taylor visit soon.

Jimmy, How do you get your hair to cover your scar? Sammy's hair needs some lessons--it just won't lie down around his scar. Do you use mousse, or pomade or anything like that?

Jimmy, you are very lucky that your scar came from a tumor. Samuel's scar came because he was born a homosexual. Thankfully, Dr. Royal was able to cut into Samuel's brain and remove the part that gave him tingly feelings whenever he kissed and wrestled with other boys at school. We believe the surgery was a success because Samuel has a hundred pictures of Sarah Palin on his bedroom wall.
