These folks were in our ward a few years ago. They were the nursery leaders when Rachel was a young thing. They had a hard time handling Rachel, and asked us not to bring Rachel to nursery anymore. I guess they don't tolerate differences very well. Notice that the oldest boy doesn't get a solo. . . That's because he is handicapped. They would probably ask him to leave nursery, too. Jeez, these people are completely crazy. I love watching the kids sing, though. They close their eyes and sing like they mean it. Enjoy! Leslie

Americans are NOT stupid

Eric and I thought this was funny--the first half anyway. And that little four letter word makes it unaccetable for the eternal jenkin's family. Thanks John for helping me figure this out.

Henry VOTED

Henry gives McCain the edge to take California and win the Presidency!
So if the Jenkins Family voted today, here is how the election would turn out.

Obama gets these States:
Michigan 17 = Eric & Michelle
Org 7 = Dave and Robin
Obama 24 Electoral College

McCain gets these States
Colorado 9 = McCain: Simonsens, Patsy & Phil / Packs vote towards Bob Barr & go to a waste.
California 55 = Obama: Brad & Leslie / McCain: John, Robin, & Henry
McCain 45 Electoral College

David and Brad have already hired attorneys to throw out Henry's vote.
After much weeks of investigation into Henry past, they discover that Henry has actually voted around 500 times in different states through his travels. Henry actually voted under many different names:
Henry Jenkins, Henry the Evil Troll, Henry McCoy, Henry Pack, Henry Simonsen, Henry Rackley, Henry Unck, Henry Neiman, Henry Nieman, Henry Jean, Henry Dankers, Henry Martin, Henry Roberts, Henry Corey, Henry Bush, Henry Obama, Henry Russell, Henry Winn, Henry Smith, Henry Young, Henry Stern, Henry Ford, Henry Hulme, Henry Tso, Henry Dunnet, Henry Bridge, Henry Politis, Evil Uncle Henry, Henry Prost, & Henry Packer.
Looks Like Henry might be traveling to the big house for quite some time for voter fraud.
But then Henry Hires his own Attorney to look into Brad's past and we won't even get into that on this posting, Not enough space in the internet to cover that topic.

At the end of all this.
Obama finally wins in the courts.
Henry goes to Jail.

Samuel and Prop 8

Leslie and I want to make an important announcement to the family. Our beautiful son Samuel is gay. We have been ashamed and embarrassed by Samuel’s orientation. We have done everything in our power to hide it from the rest of the family. We have also done everything in our power to rid Samuel of his unique feelings. Even as an infant, Samuel showed signs of his misunderstood desires. He was often caught holding hands with other male babies in the hospital nursery. We had the doctor crack open his skull and cut out parts of his brain tissue in order to make him “normal.” That is the real reason for Samuel’s scar. The other techniques we tried on Sam were: partial drowning, minor match burns, facial slapping, restrictive clothing, carefully placed electrical shocks, sleep deprivation, handcuffs, icy baths, etc. The reason Samuel looks so sad and frightened in the picture is because we had just found him dressed up as a woman, again. He was fearful of the new techniques we were going to use to help change him. After much prayer and medication, Leslie and I have decided to embrace our son for who he truly is. We love him as he is. We are voting no on Proposition 8 so our son Samuel will not be discriminated against by Christian Nazis.

We had our Annual Halloween Potluck today. I was the only male to dress up. Robin wessied out and didn't even dress up today.

Claire is one of the funnies ladies in our office. She makes the best costumes every year.
This year she came as Jeffry Dahmer refridgerator. She won first prize!

We're heading up to the evil San Francisco friday afternoon to see the play Beach Blanket Babylon. It will be pretty interesting up in the city on a halloween night.

They totally decorated my desk. good thing they didn't mess up robin's desk, so I had a place to work for a few hours.
They even brought in a coffin.

Jimmy and Taylor's Wedding

Jimmy Russell is one of our extra special nephews'. He is Don and Esther's son. Don Russell is Robin's older brother. As a child Jimmy had a difficult time speaking correctly; He had a very difficult time with his D's and R's. Something we would tease him very often about, by calling him Corky.
One of our greatest blessing we feel we have ever had was; moving a few blocks away from Don and Esther back in 1990 in Toyorsville, Utah. Don and Esther's kids were all pretty young and were so much fun having them live down the street. Jimmy would come our home all the time to play. He would tell all his friends that his uncle John had a pet Monkey. But that's another story. Jimmy is a survivor of having a brain tumor a few years ago. He had the tumor removed and continues to be tested to make sure the tumor does not return. He serviced his Mission in Atlanta Georgia. Jimmy used to love to pinch my butt all the time when he was a kid. Something I think he learned this from his mom.
Jimmy and Taylor were sealed and married in the Salt Lake Temple on Saturday, it was forecasted to snow but fortunately it was just very cold but no snow or rain outside the temple. Robin said that she had never seen a girl more in love than Taylor was at the sealing. She is very beautiful and has reddish hair just like Esther, probably one of the reason's why Jimmy fell in love with her.
Don and Esther's family.

It was great seeing all of Don & Esther's kids and their spouses. We can't believe how grown up Megan is now. She told us how she just made another boy cry because she wanted to break up with him. She is studying Music and Harp that the University of Arizona. Where her older sister Michelle Graduated at.

Here is Megan Playing the Harp at the reception.

Probably our favorite picture of the trip.

Megan, Jimmy, Michelle, Brian, Rebbecca.

Jimmy and John. I don't see where Jimmy's hand is?

Yes, Henry even attended Jimmy and Taylor's sealing. He brought his temple recommend.

We had the best time! Too bad it was so short. This is what we miss most about living in Utah, Robin's family. We look forward to Brian and Katie's trip in April 09. And hope Jimmy and Taylor visit soon.

My Unique Upbringing

I wanted to share with all my friends about the way I was raised. Here is a little clip that me and my siblings were forced to watch several times a year. It is of my Love Bird Parents on their honeymoon. I warn you it is quite disturbing.

I do not believe that any of my other brothers and sister participated in this activity while on their honeymoon accept Sharee and John Pack. But my brother Brad was very influenced by this flim clip, by his desire to always talk about being Naked.

My parents have continually blamed R rated movies and Saturday Night Live for influencing me to be to rude and crude with many of my comments. and humor. But after I showed this clip to my bishop during my bishop's court last week. The council felt that in fact it was my upbringing and the way my parents raised me that was to be blamed.

Enjoy watching, it is quite addicting. At the end of the clip if you click on Fun with Phil and Patsy it will take you to You Tube where you can send to all your other friends.

Lawrence Welk Show for the Disabled

In an effort to counteract the evils of Proposition 8, Rachel helped Sam get in touch with his more obvious feminine side. As you can see, he is a reluctant cross dresser. If you look closely, the pink string was taped to his head by his loving sister Rachel. He cried a little bit when I ripped it off his head.

Good one...

Anybody in this family ever seen a chicken?

John Scuba Diving in Kauai

We never had gone Scuba diving, so we decided do it while in Kauai.
Unfortunately they would not let Robin go because of some medication she was on. Next time.
I was able to swim with sea turtles. I could not touch them because in Hawaii it's illegal and I could be hit with a $10,000 fine.
We dove down to 80 feet deep.
I had the time of my life and want to go again real soon.

Boys Weekend a Success

We had a very fun weekend with the boys in town. I forgot how difficult it is to live with Brad. OMgosh what a hyper little boy. He is so funny when he eats. He gets so excited. And watching a movie, ot tv show with him, he has to stand up and walk around if he gets excited. And the Clapping of his hands all the time! Leslie how in the Heck do you handle this?????

We spent an afternoon in Carmel. Robin got to join in.

It's Forest Gump. What does Brad and Forest has in common????

They both had bad legs growing up. Both look kinda funny; Both Love a box Chocolate, and both are a little out of place with the ladies.

There was this Hot Chocolate Bar at the Ritz in Half Moon Bay. Robin and Brad could not resist.

Henry is soo happy he made a new Best Friend in Brad. Finally someone as small as him to play with.

Overall, the weekend did what it was intended to do. Build a stronger relationship with my brothers, to spendtime, relax, laugh, and forget about all of our problems and stress of life for awhile.

We had a Great Weekend.

Just trying out this new blog. We'll post pictures tonight. We had Brad and David fly out to visit us in Los Gatos this w/e. The three boys hadn't gotten together for a while just the three of us, and we felt is was way past due.
